BR: After Twenty Years

I didn't want to arrest you myself. (p.84)

Bob was waiting for his old friend, Jimmy at the restaurant door. Then a policeman came up to him so he explained the reason he is standing there to the police. Twenty years ago, Bob and Jimmy had dinner at the restaurant and promised that they would meet there again. After the police walked away, at last Jimmy came up to him and they were glad to see each other. Howver Bob realized that he isn't Jimmy and he asked to him who are you. Surprisingly, the man was a police and he came to arrest Bob because he is a wanted criminal. Jimmy became a police and he knows it, but he didn't want to arrest him. So Jimmy didn't come.
After I read it, I  feel so sad.
